Application

Fiberglass surface treatment: Chloropropyltrimethoxysilane is mainly used to treat fiberglass to improve its bonding strength with epoxy resin, and is commonly used in the manufacture of composite materials.

Rubber processing additives: In the rubber industry, chloropropyltrimethoxysilane is used as a coupling agent, which can couple inorganic fillers in various halogenated rubbers, such as neoprene, chlorinated butyl rubber, chlorosulfonated polyethylene, etc., thereby improving the physical and mechanical properties of the rubber.
