Properties
This product boasts several key features and properties, including a high level of activity and low-medium modulus. It also has good adhesion strength and tensile elasticity, and cures quickly. If necessary, non-tin catalysts can be used. Siwin-M330 is also resistant to aging, water, solvents, and yellowing, and has an excellent elastic recovery rate. It is solvent-free, odorless, and eco-friendly, making it a great choice for environmentally-conscious applications.
Applications
Siwin-M330 is commonly used as a base polymer in elastic sealants, elastic structure sealants, encapsulate adhesives, and coatings. Its moisture curing ability makes it suitable for use in both single component and two component systems. It is often used in the transportation industry as a sealant, as well as in medium and low modulus construction sealants. It can also be used as a transparent encapsulate adhesive or as a personal DIY seal.
Processing
1. Siwin-M330 can react with water or by absorbing moisture from the air, so it is important to isolate moisture during storage and production.
2. The dosage of Siwin-M330 can be flexibly changed in the formulation design, and it can be mixed with most fillers such as nano calcium carbonate, heavy calcium carbonate, fumed silica, quartz powder, diatomaceous earth, aluminum hydroxide, etc..
3. In order to avoid pre-curing of the product, it is necessary to remove water from the filler. Siwin-V31 is generally used as a water scavenger.
4. Commonly used plasticizers are phthalates (PPG, DOP, DINP, DIDP, etc.), low molecular weight polyethers, etc.
5. In order to get better performance, you can mix other additives together, for example, tackifiers, antioxidants, mildew inhibitors, light stabilizers, etc.
