Siwin-932 blends well with common organic solvents like alcohols, hydrocarbons, and acetone.

Siwin-932 is hardly soluble in neutral water and only slowly forms silanols and higher condensation products.

By adding a hydrolytic catalyst (inorganic/organic acids, ammonia or amines), the hydrolysis of Siwin-932 can be significantly sped up.

Siwin-932 can serve as a water repellent to enhance the dispersibility of fillers and reduce their tendency to settle.

Siwin-932 is a crucial component for sol-gel coatings, silicone resins, and silicone rubber.
