Applications

Applied as a crucial ingredient in creating different vinyl silane coupling agents;

Utilized in modifying or copolymerizing chloro-resin (such as PVC) with chloro-polymers;

Employed in enhancing the mechanical strength and heat-and-moisture resistance of glass fibers and reinforced plastic laminates through surface treatment. This is achieved by using VTCS with unsaturated groups and active chloride ions, which react strongly with water and transform into silicon alcohol.
