Applications

These substances serve as agents for coupling, promoting adhesion, and cross-linking.

They are employed in the production of sulfur and peroxide-cured rubber, polyester, polyolefins, styrenics, acrylics, and other materials. They are also used to treat mineral fillers in plastics.

Additionally, they can be copolymerized with ethylene to enable moisture-induced coupling of polyethylene or to graft onto polyethylene for moisture-induced coupling.
