Description

Siwin-VF21B is a vinyl-terminated branch of polydimethylsiloxane with a molecular weight range of 300-300000 (customizable based on customer requirements). The vinyl content and molecular weight are not directly related, allowing for flexibility in the ratio between the two. In addition to the normal benefits of PDMS, Siwin-VF21B has unique features such as strong active branch ends that can undergo various reactions, including additive and free radical reactions. Compared to PDMS, Siwin-VF21B is more compatible with organic solvents and can be easily used with other organic materials.

Applications

Siwin-VF21B has various applications, including use as a hardness agent for high viscosity silicone rubber (110-2) and as a dilution agent during vulcanization. It can also be used as a modifying agent in organic materials like acrylic resins and polyvinyl acetal resin. Additionally, it is useful in the production of HTV and medium temperature vulcanized silicone rubber and silica gel.
