Siwin offer 4 different types of silane crosslink agents for oxime, acetoxy, alkoxy and acetone based silicone sealants and adhesives.
1.Oximino Silane Crosslinkers:
Unlike acid or alkaline crosslinking systems that release acetic acid or amines, oximino silanes release 2-butanone oxime (MEKO), which reacts neutrally. This makes them ideal for use on sensitive substrates like marble.
The reactivity of SIWIN crosslinkers follows the general trend:
SIWN-TOS > SIWIN-VOS > SIWIN-MOS.
By blending different types of crosslinkers, users can precisely adjust formulation properties such as skin-over time, curing rate, and time to first elastic recovery.
Response to the MEKO Ban in the EU:
In light of the upcoming MEKO ban in the EU, SIWIN has developed innovative low-MEKO and no-MEKO crosslinkers based on acetoxime, methyl isobutyl ketoxime (MIBKO), and 2-pentanoneoxime (MPKO).
2. Acetoxy Silane Crosslinkers:
Acetoxy silicone sealants are known for their strong adhesion to various substrates, fast curing times, short tack-free times, and cost-effectiveness. SIWIN offers high-quality acetoxy silanes, such as MTAS or ETAS silane, which are widely applied in sealing kitchens, bathrooms, and other indoor areas.
During curing, these sealants release acetic acid, resulting in a characteristic vinegar-like smell. This acid can corrode certain materials, such as metals, sensitive electronic components, and natural stone, leading to discoloration or damage. As a result, acetoxy-based sealants are not recommended for these sensitive applications compared to neutral curing sealants.
3. Alkoxy Silane Crosslinkers:
a. For Methanol-Releasing Alkoxy Sealants (e.g., Black, Gray, etc.)
For alkoxy sealants that release methanol during curing, we recommend the following system:
Resin: OH Polymer with a viscosity of 30,000 - 50,000.
Crosslinker: Siwin-931 (Methyltrimethoxysilane).
Catalyst: Siwin-TIC01 (Tetraethoxysilane).
This combination ensures efficient curing, providing excellent flexibility and adhesion, while also enhancing the durability and weather resistance of dark-colored sealants such as black or gray. The use of Siwin-931 ensures a quick and stable curing process, while Siwin-TIC01 acts as a catalyst to promote faster crosslinking.
b. For Ethanol-Releasing Alkoxy Sealants (e.g., Black, Gray, etc.)
For ethanol-releasing alkoxy sealants, we recommend the following formulation:
Resin: OH Polymer with a viscosity of 30,000 - 50,000.
Crosslinker: Siwin-ND43 (Dichloromethyltriethoxysilane).
Catalyst: Siwin-ND22 (Amino-functional silane).
This system is designed for sealants that require a slower curing process and enhanced flexibility. The use of Siwin-ND43, which contains a dichloromethyl group, helps achieve superior crosslinking efficiency and bonding strength, particularly in dark-colored sealants. The catalyst Siwin-ND22 ensures optimal curing speed and provides enhanced moisture resistance, making it suitable for sealants exposed to harsh environments.
c. For Light-Colored Alkoxy Sealants (e.g., Transparent, White)
For light-colored alkoxy sealants, such as transparent or white formulations, we recommend two different systems based on the type of alkoxy endcap used on the resin.
Resin: Alkoxy-endcapped OH Polymer, Siwin-TMOH20000-TMOH80000 (Trimethoxy endcapped OH polymer), with a viscosity ranging from 20,000 to 80,000.
Crosslinker: Siwin-931 (Methyltrimethoxysilane).
Catalyst: Siwin-DBTDL (Tin catalyst).
This system provides excellent transparency and adhesion properties, making it ideal for sealants used in applications where appearance and durability are key concerns, such as in construction or automotive glazing.
Resin: Alkoxy-endcapped OH Polymer, Siwin-DMOH20000-DMOH80000 (Dimethoxy endcapped OH polymer), with a viscosity ranging from 20,000 to 80,000.
Crosslinker: Siwin-931 (Methyltrimethoxysilane).
Catalyst: Siwin-TIC02 (Titanium-based catalyst).
The method provides a slightly slower curing rate, which can be beneficial for applications requiring more workability time. This system is particularly useful for light-colored or translucent sealants that require a high level of transparency and smoothness.

Siwin-AT121 is applied for the production of the acid type RTV silicone rubber. It is from Siwin- AT102 by repalcing acyloxy functional group by methoxypyrazinefunctional group. It is liquid at low temperature while Siwin-AT102 will crystalize.
Siwin-AT122 is always used with Siwin-AT102 to produce acid type RTVsilicone rubber.It can avoid crystalizing and improve the tensile strength and bonding strength of RTV silicone rubber.
Siwin-AT202 is a crucial cross-linking agent utilized in acid-type RTV silicone rubber. It is typically paired with Siwin-AT102 to prevent crystallization and enhance the tensile strength and elongation of the rubber. Our inventory includes Siwin-AT202, Siwin-AT102, and the combined mixture.
Siwin-AT302 is an acid-type cross-linking agent and always used with Siwin-AT102 instead of the mixture of Siwin-AT102 and Siwin-AT402 to avoid crystallizing. And the tensile strengt of RTV silicoe rubber is better. We can offer the mixture of Siwin-AT302 and Siwin-AT102 directly.
Siwin-AT402 is one of the most important cross-linking agent for acid-type RTV silicone rubber. It is aways used with Siwin-AT102 to avoid crystalizing, and the mixture also can improve the tensile strength and bonding strength of RTV silicone rubber. We can supply Siwin-AT402, Siwin-AT102 and the mixture.
Siwin-AT024 is a adhesive promoter for acid-type RTV silicone rubber and always used with Siwin- AT102 instead of the mixture of Siwin-AT102 and Siwin-AT402 to avoid crystalizing.
The mixture of Siwin-AT024 and Siwin-AT102 will improve the performace of the RTV silicone rubber, such as tensile strength, bonding strength, elongation. It can be applied for producing acid structural adhesive and large plate glass-rubber etc.We also can offer the mixture of Siwin-AT024 and Siwin- AT102.
Siwin-AT602 is applied as an acid-type cross-linking agent in producing RTV silicone rubber. It is liquid under low temperature,and it can improve the performance of RTV silicone rubber in surface curing speed,tensile strength, oil-resistance and tenacity.
Siwin-AT102 is a crucial cross-linking agent for acid-based RTV silicone rubber. It forms white crystals at low temperatures. To prevent crystallization, Siwin-AT102 is typically used in conjunction with Siwin-AT102, Siwin-AT402, or Siwin-AT024. The combination also enhances the RTV silicone rubber's elongation, tensile strength, and bonding strength. We can also provide Siwin-AT402, Siwin-AT402, Siwin-AT024, and the blend as per your specifications.
Siwin-932 is highly miscible with standard organic solvents,such as alcohols, hydrocarbons and acetone.
Siwin-932 is practically insoluble in neutral water and reacts only slowly to form silanols and higher condensation products.
Addition of a hydrolytic catalyst (inorganic/organic acids, ammonia or amines) accelerates the hydrolysis of Siwin-932 substantially.
Siwin-932 may be used as water repellent to improve fillers dispersibility and reduces their
sedimentation tendency.
Siwin-932 may be used as an important component for sol-gel coating, silicone resins and silicone rubber.
Siwin-KT124 is a silane with double functional groups provided in producing higher tensile strength RTV silicone rubber. Its activity is higher than Siwin-KT114. It can be used with Siwin-MOS /Siwin- VOS as needed.
Siwin-KT203 is a silane with lower toxicity and higher activity for producing RTV which is more friendly to environment and human. Siwin-KT203 is suitable for where the catalyzer-DBTA or MEKO is limired.
Siwin-KT126 is a silane with double functional groups,which can be produced higher tensile strength RTV silicone rubber. It is lower toxicity than Siwin-KT124. It can perform well in the place where MEKO is limited,so it is usually used in producing RTV which is more friendly to environment and human.
Siwin-KT206 is a silane with lower toxicity for producing RTV.It is usually used with Siwin-KT106 、Siwin-KT006. MIBKO(Methyl isobutyl ketoxime), which will produce during the process of making silicone rubber by Siwin-KT206, is less toxicity than MEKO(Methyl ethyl ketoxime) which will produce during the process of making silicone rubber by MEKO silane. So compared with the RTV silicone rubber produced with Siwin-VOS, the silicone rubber produced by Siwin-KT206 is more friendly to environment and human and with higher transparency.
Siwin-KT304 is mostly applied for producing RTV Silicone rubber. The mechanical property of RTV silicone rubber which produced by Siwin-KT304 is better than that is produced by Siwin-MOS.
Siwin-KT006 is usually used with Siwin-KT106 to improve the performance of the RTV silicone rubber, suche as curing speed, tensile strength and reduce the cracks. Using Siwin-KT006 instead of Siwin-KT206 can avoid the color easily changing yellow. Siwin-KT006 is also suitable for where the catalyzer-DBTA is limired.Compared with Siwin-KT004,Siwin-KT006 is liquid at room temperature and it is more conveniece to use. Siwin-KT006 is lower toxicity, it can perform well in the place where MEKO is limited,so it is usually used in producing the RTV silicone rubber which is more friendly to environment and human.
Siwin-POS is applied as a cross-linking agent in producing oxime type RTV silicone rubber. Compared with Siwin-MOS and Siwin-VOS. The peformance of the silicone rubber,sucn as heat- resistance, tear-resistance, oil-resistance, surface curing speed and elongation, can be imporved when it is produced by Siwin-POS and the silicone rubberr produced by Siwin-POS is always used in electronic or mechanical. This crosslinker also can produce the silicone rubber with extending.
Siwin-KT106 is a silane with lower toxicity for producing RTV.It is usually used with Siwin-KT206 or Siwin-KT006 according to the customers’ requirment. MIBKO(Methyl isobutyl ketoxime), which will produce during the process of making silicone rubber by Siwin-KT106, is less toxicity than MEKO(Methyl ethyl ketoxime) which will produce during the process of making silicone rubber by MEKO silane. So compared with the RTV silicone rubber produced with Siwin-MOS, the silicone rubber produced by Siwin-KT106 is more friendly to environment and human and with higher transparency.
Siwin-TOS is usually applied with Siwin-MOS together to improve the performance of curing speed and tensile strength and reduce the cracks. Using Siwin-TOS instead of Siwin-VOS can avoid the color easily changing yellow. Siwin-TOS is also suitable for where the catalyzer-DBTA is not applicable.
